How Does This Arrangement Sound?

I was just thinking of a simple meadow scape that my cories, platies and dwarf gourami would appreciate. I was thinking about covering the bottom in a carpet plant with some sparse java ferns, and having either my amazon sword or some vallis in the back corner. However, is vallis okay with really high filtration? I also need some good ideas for a main carpet plant.

Vals do well with water flow. As far as a carpeting plant that works well with cories, outnumbered chain sword, or dwarf hair grass would look good, imo.

I had twisted valises in my fishtank when I started off but I have hears that sucker fish chew the leaves of soft leaved plants when they don't get enough food so sure enough within a few weeks my valises were dead and gone also they went a brown color in the tank before they died not sure if it's my doing or the plant sellers doing.

Vallis can be funny stuff. Sometimes, in some places, it'll grow like a weed; other times in other places it won't!

I've had it growing madly, moved it eight inches sideways and had it die off

Have I correctly read somewhere that many type of Vallis throw a strop at liquid carbon supplements?

I also want to do one of these tanks and I think the dwarf hairgrass looks very nice as a carpet.
