Hi

I've got 4 relatively small guppies. One of them has got some lovely yellow and black leopard like colouring on its dorsal fin, but the other 3 have got transparent browny/dirty looking dorsal fins - with a mixture of colours on the rest of their body.

Yesterday, I noticed tiny light patches on 2 of the small guppies dorsal fins. It's really hard to tell if the patches are spots of light yellow or light blue - the same colour as their tails, or whether they've got white spot :/

So, does a guppy's colour develop in patches on its dorsal fin, or do I need to start treating for whitespot?

Thanks

Kathryn :fish:

White Spot look like small white fluffy spots on the fish I pretty sure your guppies don't have it. I'm pretty sure this is just normal colouring on the guppies but just incase keep an eye out.

Hi Guppylover :D

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I think you're right :p I've just had a closer look at them todayand the little patches seem to have got a tiny bit bigger and there's definitely some colour to them.

hehe, anxious newbie here, worrying about nothing!
