How do you trim twisted vallis? Mine is growing quite big for my fry tank now but i'd like to keep it in there as it gets plenty of light, how would I go about doing this? Just cut the leaves or something?

Yeah, cut it just below the water line. But i do prefer them arching over the surface of the water, looks more natural.

Mines not very twisted, and I was going to cut it and then I thought it would have a chance to twist a bit more...

Neal

Yeah, same with mine. Mine weren't very twisted but now they have been changing. I think we got them from the same source :p so i would just leave it for a bit.

Looking at it, it seems to have improved, it doesn't help by the fact it's totally surrounded by java moss though.

Neal

PS- Did you get yours from Jape?
