Sadly, I've never actually heard anyone say it in real life other than myself. @__@

But yeah. SICK-LID. I googled a dictionary website up that includes pronunciation when I first got into aquariums, so I've known how to say it right from the start.

I hate not knowing the proper way to pronounce things.
Makes me feel like a dunce.
