How Do You Measure Angels?

Sorry for the silly question, but its been bugging me how you would measure the size of an angel. Is it top to bottom including fins, top to bottom excluding fins or nose to tail?

I think it is a matter of saying what you mean...i.e. "My Angel is 4" from nose to tail"....or "My Angel is 4" top to bottom"....

I measure mine by body size, excluding fins. Say I have some juvie angels, I call them pea size. Then I go up by coin size say nickel, quarter, half dollar

I measure mine in body size too, eg 5p, 20p, 10p, 50p etc. That is body size not including fins.

Thanks everyone, I was thinking about swapping my gold angel for another stripy one or a marble, but I couldnt think how to size it lol.
