How Do You Know When The Swordtails Are Gonna Drop There Frys

i have a pregnant swordtail it is a Santa Claus swordtail aka koi swordtail it got the gravid spot a few days ago how do you know when the swordtail is going to drop there frys because its starting to get fat how do you know

Look at the top of this section of the forum. There is a pinned topic called "How Do You Know If Your Livebearers Ready To Drop Fry". It has an explanation with lots of pictures of platies. Platies and swords are both closely related species and aquarium strains are actually mixes of the two so it applies equally to swordtails. I also have a sequence of pictures, with some explanation, that you can reach from a link in my signature. It is about mollies instead of platies but the principles are the same.
