10 Penguin Tetras
9 Neon Tetras
5 Panda Corydoras
1 Betta

I feed once a day (missing 1 day every 3-4) and they seem happy enough with that but I've noticed one issue with the bottom feeders (corydoras).

The Penguin Tetras are greedy buggers and the Neons not far behind which means when I feed them they eat pretty quickly and always want more as fish do. I can never get the catfish type pellets to actually reach the bottom before been intercepted by the Tetras! I've had to resort to sticking my hand in the tank and placing them on the bottom!

Even then they have about 2-3 mins before the Neons pick the food off the bottom of the gravel which means they're bloated and end up eating too much!

How the hell can I make sure some of the fish actually get the food as well? The Tetras are just too quick for the Betta/Corydoras!

try using algae wafers, and try feeding them after lights out,

weigh down a chunk of courgette, the corys will love it

What are those coils I see wedged through the courgettes/cucumber on photos? Can you buy them from somewhere?

they are called screwcumbers or something like that and can be brought off ebay,
personally i just use a piece of slate or skewer it through a corner of bogwood

Well I've fed them courgette and they passed over it once or twice but really couldn't care less!

Do Pandas not like it?
