Heya i was just wondering how do you delete your account?

thanks x

unsure...go into control panel? My controls..top right hand corner

Most forums don't offer the opportunity to delete your account. If you feel you won't use it any more, just stop using it - it's not like the account contains any personal information about you. You can change the email address that's stored then there's nothing about the account that ties it to you.

If you have further concerns, I'd suggest contacting one of the moderators about them.

There is no way to delete your account. Deleting it when you have posts (which would disappear) would leave potential holes in threads you have posted on. If you would like a different ID, admin can change that if you have a valid reason.

We should be warned upon signing up that there is no way to delete an account.

It's maybe something that could be included in the sign-up rules screen, but ultimately why do you need your posts to disappear from the forum? If you no longer want to be a part of the forum, it's simple, just don't login again.

1. If you are not willing for anything you post anywhere on the internet to last a long long time, do not post it.

2. If you are not willing to have your real name associated with your online presence, do not use any part of your real name as your screen name.

2a. In keeping with the above, never join any site that requires your real name or your personal information as a requirement for signing up.

3. If you are member of any site where you no longer wish to participate, vote with your feet- walk away.

4. Before walkng away change or delete any personal information, such as your email addy, your signature, I.M. information etc. Usually email addys cannot be removed, only changed. My friends joesmith and janedoe let anybody use their name in an email addy- joesmith@anyISP.com or janedoe@anotherISP.net.

5. Even when sites ban a user for life, they do not delete the associated account for the reasons cited above- holes in threads.

As stated above we do not delete accounts. If you no longer wish to use the forum simply don't log in.
