as title says.

i need to get the sails out of my biorb for my dwarf puffer to eat, what shall i use to do this, will a piece of veg do- if so which type, are they fussy??

thanks for your help

You could try using an algae wafer or a piece of cucumber after the lights are off. Wait a few hours until they have found the food and net them out.

thanks for your help, so far.

they arnt active enough to just pull out of the tank, i figured i would have to intice them out. - shall i just try random veg?- will it be ok to put like a cabbage leaf in the night before i want to fed him/her and then pullout in the morning hopefully with some snails on!

i figured the time the veg is left in the tank would be about from 9or10 til 7-8. is this ok or would it harm water chem?

You can also vary your fishes diet with some veg helps them get the vitamins just like us ;)

what!- i dont think dwarf puffers would prefer a pea over a snail
thanks anyway, assaisin would jst kill them- im not trying to get rid of them

thanks anyways guys, i think i will try cabbage, lettuce and maybe some celeri stalks(easier to get in/out) soon.
