Basically i got a pair of weather loaches yesterday. The moment i let them go they have been in hiding, afraid to come out. The fishes in the tank include shoals of tiger barbs, neon tetras, scissortails, red eye tetras and rasboras. There are some gouramis and a pack of upside down cats as well.

...But the problem is, the loaches don't eat. I have tried feeding them, but they are too slow to go for the flakes. I have catfish pellets and dried bloodworm as well. So what should i do? And how long will it take for them to adjust to morning feedings? Any advice will be appreciated , thanks B)

loaches are nocturnal so you should offer them food 30 minutes or so after the tank lights have been turned off. But don't be too worried about them not getting any food. Fish can last for months without food and if they are hungry they will come out and fight for the food.

give them time - they're probably a little stressed at the moment and its common for new fish to not feed for over a week whilst they adjust to the tank. Don't worry about them just now. Once the lights are off they probably go for a scavenge anyway and pick up bits of leftover food.

Catfish pellets are fine and bloodworm is devoured by my cory's and raphaels once it hits the bottom but they never get a sniff of flake.
