Check out this incredible planted discus tank. Wait until he starts to feed them, as then you can see the aquascape better. He has plants that look like palm trees alonng the bank. How does he do this, and are these java fern? What other plants can you ID in this tank? This is without a doubt one of the coolest tanks I have ever seen. I wish I could set one up just like it!!!
 
Here is another video of this guy's tanks. After the first tank, you will see better detail of the discus tank. The aquascaping techniques are incredible IMO. His smaller tank is well balanced...perfect scape too. I wish I could do that...

FAAO is Philipe Oliveira (from Porto) if you want to search for a few of his scapes. He is very good and well regarded in the hobby.

Threadfin Rainbow.

He attaches a plant that doesnt need rooting to a piece of wood, for example microsorum pteropus, mosses, anubias etc. Here is a tree scape he has done:

I like the bonsai tree made form an upsidedown tree root and some java moss. It looks rather good :)

Do you have more aqua scapes or a link to his aqua scapes? i know he has plentiful photos ive seen many of his beautiful tank,

Im setting up a 55 gallon tank and i have some ideas ide like to spin off of his but i cant seem to find any of the galleries.
