What kind of Rainbows (?) are those in the second video?

Threadfin Rainbow.

He attaches a plant that doesnt need rooting to a piece of wood, for example microsorum pteropus, mosses, anubias etc. Here is a tree scape he has done:

What plant or plants is he using for his ground cover. I know it's java moss on the 'bonsai tree'. I can't really make out the cover. Looks short to be microsword.

Oh I hate people that can make their tanks look like that and even more that there water is soooo clear!

Since I've had my tank its never been clear it always looks murky and the designs he does is amazing!!

In planted tanks we always have lots of filtration (10x turnover) and most of us do a 50% water change every week, not to mention plants help a lot ;)

I have an external filter and plenty of plants, within the past month they have grown like crazy, which is good though! lol

First thing to get good water clarity is to get a decent sized filter to deal with the waste. Then you can also add Purigen which removes the very slight tannins that are in the water from ammonia and other substances which is how many tanks you see have crystal clear water.
