My male honey gourami is allways building a bubble nest behind my filter but after a couple of days it allways fizzles away.

He lives with 2 females in my 10 gallon tank, I have seen him mating with one of the females (one that has only one eye) and the other he just chases around.

When he builds the nest could i put him in a seperation net for a day or 2 whilst the female does her bit????? any help, thanks.

if i put my fish net tank in the tank (seperater) and put the honey in there which the male hasent been mating with and leave the 2 mating pairs in the main tank would that be ok, or would it stress my fish out.

Idearly u want 1 pair to a tank.

Let them breed for you then remove the female.
It's the male that looks after the eggs and the fry.

As the fry become free swimming 2-3 days after hatching remove the male.
You then need some inforsoria (spelling). This is a tiny food which the fry need for the first 5 days of their life.
Get a jar or tank water, then blanch some lettuce for 30 seconds and put it in the jar, and place in a sunny location. 2-3 days latter it should be bright green water, add a little of this to the fry tank.
Then your need newly hatched brine shrimp to feed them from day 5 till hey an inch or so.
