Hi i would really likes ome adivice. I have had a planted tank for a while and everything is going great. i am planting it more heavly. putting plants all along the back. my heater is at the back at an angle. Is it ok to surround it with plants and stuff? well to plant them along the back where they may touch it? i will leave a little room but how carefull do i need to be. all advice really apreciated. :) want to make sure its ok. thanks.. :)

well im just worried itll damage the heater. or the plants? is that making fun of my ignorance? because there is no such thing as a silly question unless mine is a little silly? :) :)

its 200 watt in a 120 lt fish tank. thanks wanted to make sure?

ive got a sword right up against the heater, and strangely its doing the best out of all the swords in the tank, i havent had any problems yet

Larger heaters surface tends to be VERY hot, if the leaves/stems are directly touching there may be some problems. But near should be fine.

Make sure though that circulation around the heater is not effected.

there is pretty good circulation as the natural flow of the filter moves them away from the heater mostly. cool ill put them a little bit away. thanks.
