I would say leave another half to 1 week personally until she really is about to explode she is nearly there

Do you have any more pictures of your female Lizzie? The reason i ask is that your female looks like it could be male?? I say this due to the obvious trapezoid (pointy) Anal fin.

i was thinking the same but with the nipped fins might not be so easy to tell , would be good to see piccy before fins got nipped if possible

i have some females with long fins so thats why a piccy before nip would be good

i will get more pictures....
but i bought her from a breeder and she said that she was a female.....

These things happen though. especially when the fry grow up in a large grow out tank. The less dominant males will be affected my the a hormone excreted by other males, which will slow their development down. When i breed, i tend to hold onto any i am not sure about.

I'd say she is a she from that video.

Your male is madly displaying at her. And there is no reaction from her end. IE. flaring back.

And due to her colouration you wouldn't be able to see if she's showing breeding stripes.

so should i leave her with him?
she's in a breeder's net but thats only because i dont have a chimney.....
i also cant have glass

If you're going to use that as a breeding tank hun then you need to lower the water a bit more and add some hidey places for the female

I didnt let my female out until she was swimming nose down (which is a good sign she's ready) as i was reliably informed - then they spawned right away

thank you.
any thing else ?
im a first time breeder....
dont worry i have homes for the babies already
