I had to do loads of reading in the last week. One of my 2 fish isn't a boy.
And even better is finding out the girl is the black and orange one so I can't see the physical signs. (Also she swims like she's on a sugar rush)
Is there any way to know when? I moved them in to a 30l tank a week ago.

When she gets close to birth she will square off, or start looking like a box. Her behaviour will change too, she'll try and find a quiet spot to give birth. She might not enjoy the constant hassling by the male once she gets close to birthing, though. They are very persistent. c:

I had a platy fish I never knew was fertile with fries. I come to discover my turtle tank had two Platy fries. But I imagine they behave similar to a gravid female guppy.

She may need some more time it looks like.
