I have a 95 litre tank well planted with some wood.
For those who know it it's a fluval Roma 90 (fairly deep) with upgraded lighting (4xT5) and filter (hydor prima 10)
The DGs are by themselvese (1m 2f) if you don't count a few shrimps.
The male builds his bubble nest, but not very enthusiastically, it occasionally deflates and dissipates.
He is very enthusiastic about running after the females though, there have been also a couple of mock matings.
One of the females occasionally will go under the nest and bite the male under the tail. You can see him thinking "yay! Mating!" and she swims away.
What can I do to stimulate breeding?
Should I get another male and another female to increase competition?
I have already lowered the water level to 8" and raised the temperature, but no difference. Now the tank is back to full and temperature is back to 25 Celsius.
