How Big The Fry Should Be?

My yellow molly fish gave birth last week but I found only 1 single surviving fry hiding under a few stones in the tub. I separated it in a large Jar and have covered it with a lid that has 2 holes. I keep this jar submerged in the main tub itself. The fry seems to be doing good and its been a week since I found it. Can someone please suggest how big the fry should grow before it can be put with the bigger fishes?

Saying that one of my Molly's dropped fry just under 2 weeks ago and they was massive and tonight I've let them loose in the main tank with the adults and they are half the size of my 3 month old molly

They 3 fry in this pic are just under 2 weeks old and the 1 guppie Is nearly 7 months old and you can see the size of the fry.

I put them in with the main fish and not one of the adults paid any attention to them and I have 3 large mollys aswell

Of course she was the only adult present and she was well fed. This is the same fry 38 days later, shortly before the next drop.

I would just make sure that there are plenty of places for the little guy to retreat to if an adult fish does go after it. And like kcal said make sure that the baby is a fair amount larger than the adult fishes mouths.

Blimey! Molly fry are huge!!! I only have experience with guppies and platies, and they are tiny for the first weeks. Blink and you miss them.

Thanks a bunch to all of you for the responses.

As you can see in the above video. I just made a few changes to the existing main pond set up and moved pregnant black molly there with other fishes. This would be like going with "Survival of the fittest". I've created enough hiding spaces for the fish babies using cobamba floating plants and added more stones and pebbles. I'm also thinking of adding plants like wisteria. And, like oldman47 said, I will feed the adults more frequently to ensure the don't go after the babies?

The small tub will now be completely owned by the sole surviving fry and will also move the other fries to this tub as soon as they are born. This small tub now uses a bio-foam filter. Once the fries a big enough I can move them to the main pond.

In the mean time, the Yellow Molly has been behaving wierdly. She delivered babies about 3 weeks back and is already bloated again. She has lost a bit of her color too. From stark yellow, she now looks a bit faded yellow colored with an orangish shade. Not sure whats wrong with her.
