How big of a tank for 3 dwarf puffer fish?

How big of a tank for 3 dwarf puffer fish? How many could I put in a 5 gallon? How about a 10 gallon?

Never keep any puffer fish (apart from some certain species) with other fish

Also keeping such a small group opens up for many problems other than "not showing natural behavior"
Try to get a (minimally) 15-20 gallon with 5-6 of the puffers, otherwise, I would advise against keeping them because they will show increased aggression amongst themselves and generally feel insecure in such a small group

if seriouslyfish suggests that keeping such a small group is fine, they are wrong
this care guide is the most accurate for the dwarf puffer, if you plan on keeping them, you should read the whole thing and save it for future reference

more surface area is better, so long
and make sure to heavily plant your tank and include many line-of-sight break pieces like rockwork and larger driftwood
