How Big Of A Tank Do I Need

Hey everyone, I was just wondering, how big of a tank do I need to keep 1 pearl gourami, 3 blue gouramis, and 4 dwarf fire gouramis?

I would suggest that you get at least a 150 gallon tank... that might seem like over kill but trust me when I say that this hobby is like crack you will be hooked in no time and want more and different fish that you will want to try to breed. Then you will wind up frustrated when others on the site tell you your tank is too small for that type of fish, or they say they need to be in a school so you need to go bigger..

So in short safe the time and grief and go big or go home.....!!!!!


okay I'm just kidding I would say you could get by with a 10 to 15 gallon tank and still have room for a few extra fish
