i hav 3 mosquito fish fry in a 10gal, just wanted 2 kno how big they need 2 be b4 i release them in the tank w/ their parents and 3 otos. answers r much appreciated. thnx! -heart , ally86ozzy

the general rule is, if they are bigger than the mouth of the largest fish then it sould be ok. just make sure they are plenty bigger than the mouths. better be safe than sorry!

the babies r about 1 cm long, the mom is 1.5" and the dad is 1".

This is a question that cannot be answered on a forum. You will need to rely on your own experience rather than everybody elses.

Gambusia (mosquitofish) are completely different to Guppies (for instance) and the only way to find out is to experiment.
