i have 2 dwarf gourami in my 30 gallon tank. the normal (red) one usually chases the blue one if it comes into its territory. today i saw the blue one occasionally flicking its body. i looked closer and saw it had some kind of damage to its body, possibly bite marks??

can a dwarf gourami inflict such damage or is it possibly something else?

cheers

Does it look like an ulcer? Mine did that to each other, it won't get better...they pick and pick at each other's wounds, IF that's what it is, of course. Possibly a fungus.Watch them closely and see if the red one goes straight for the wound when he attacks.
