Housing male bettas?

I hope so bettamomma. Adults should never be kept together.

If you are looking for a temporary ousing situation until you can get them new homes or new tanks, I'm afraid those little cups or something simaler is your best bet.

I used beanie baby jars which sat in a tank full of heated water but cleaning them out every other day was tedious to say the least. You could use divided tanks I guess to save on water changes.
