Household Appliances Graveyard....

I have a cupboard in the kitchen where (brand new) household appliances are stored... There are a number of "white elephants" in there which, at the time of buying them seemed to make a lot of sense, but once they got home.... they were used once or twice, and then landed up in the "Graveyard" cupbard.... The latest addition is a breadmaker machine...

You simply chuck in all the ingredients, and the machine does the rest.... A nice, warm home baked bread is ready within 2 hours.... It is currently resting peacefully, - cause it is easier to pop into the cafe and just buy a bread....

There are deep oil fryers, food mixers, fruit juicers, coffee bean grinders, onion choppers, and even a foot spa in that graveyard cupboard.... Do you have such "appliances Graveyard"??

I have to admit I do have just such a graveyard cupboard with everything you mentioned. Maybe we should all do a graveyard swop for something that way we can try it out, get fed up with it and then add it to our own graveyard ready to swop with someone else, so they can............. if you get the picture

That's what garage sales and yard sales are for, LV. I've got my share too. A couple of old espresso machines, rice cooker, and some sort of margarita mixing thing. I've been preferring mojitos lately, so no margarita mixer needed. I need to have a looksy and get rid of stuff.

well i have a legit "dead/zombie" microwave in the garage when it used to be used it tended to turn on spontaneously, even if the door was open!!!

we have that 'said' cupboard Lud, it homes the Breville sandwich toaster and the George Foreman grill.

We have a section in our back driveway behind a fence haha. Ice cream makers, cappuccino machines, coffee percolator, mixers, grinders. Anything that has been used briefly and decided not worth the effort or replaced. However we do have a Smoothie machine which is used maybe once every 6 months. Smushing fruit up just isn't cost effective lol.
