i cant rember but i think its sutn to do with the minerals and particles clumping together which is visible in the form of cloudy mist, which are then expelled from the water eventually. i think the fact that hot water expells its minerals and particles is why its recommended to use cold water and let it settle to room temp whenever possible, but thast whole thing could just be in my head from no where. i watched a whole =youtube video on youtube before and its turnt my brain into water!.. oh wait the brain is mostly water..... lolAny ideas what it is? I was filling my tank up with cold water then I switch to hot and suddenly its blowing out this sort of mist? I've never seen it before.
thats a beautifull tank you got thereYears ago the same thing happened to me. It turned out that my water heater needed to be flushed out. It was actually sediment that settled to the bottom of the tank was now flowing through the lines in my house. It was a rusty color in my case. Fortunately for me I caught it when filling a bucket instead of hosing directly into the tank. Not sure what would have happened then. Probably nothing good
Thanks,
Steve
