Hostile Danios?

I recently purchased a long-tailed zebra danio to go with my 6 other zebra danios. I realize that Danios love to chase one another, but ever since his introduction the rest of the zebras have been chasing him relentlessly. I cant tell if they are fin-nipping or not, but I feel for the poor guy as he cant do anything but flee.

Is this some initiation ritual, or will this continue? The poor fellow already looks a tad out of sorts.

i have come to the conclusion that danios are evil. Mine are constantly harrassing the smallest one to the point of where it doesnt go with the rest all the time but kind of marchs to the beat of his own drum. i dont know what to tell you other than just keep an eye on it and if you think its bad remove it before its tortured to death. good luck
