Hornwort

So some hornwort came in with some plants I got from Theruleous. I put it in my tank on Friday and it must have been no bigger than an inch. I just looked at my tank now not even two whole days later and I'm not kidding it must be 5 or 6 inches big!

I realised this plant grew fast but I have to say I didnt realise it was that fast! Anyone looking for a fast grower look no further!

Absolutely ! This plant is just amazing. I remove a mini jungle from my tank each week

I know they don't root at all, but I just pinch off the lower "leaves" and push a bare 1-2" stem in to the gravel

What I'd tell you! I remove tons of the stuff each week! Im definately going to use it on all my EI tanks to get me past the algae stage, its madness the amount it grows!

Once I get a few good lengths of it grown for myself I will be happy to post some out to people.

There's fast growers but this is a whole new level, its like its on steroids or something. To grow as much as it has it must have grown a good 2 inches+ a day!

same thing happened to me chris, themuleous sent me some that didn't arrive in one piece, i floated the plant in my 20gal for around 3 days and new leaves started to grow, when i first had the plat it was around 3" but now just over a week its around 11", i went to petsathome to try and buy some more but they didnt have any
only place i haven't looked is maidenhead aquatics, will try in the week

I have noticed that it only grows like this in a high-tech tank, well obviously I guess, like all plants. But if I do send you some for a 'fish' fishtank dont expect the same results.

Mate, i`ve just been camping for 2 days, got back to my tank and the stuff is covering the WHOLE top of my tank!! eek

I`m gonna try and weigh a stem down and see if i can get it upwards.

LOL!!

I bought 2 bunches of this stuff a week ago. I un-bundled the bunches and stuck each stem in the gravel. This stuff grows like mad. I have a forest of it and it looks great.

Hi mate..

Here are a few pics of hortwort growing vertically in my tank. Sorry its a bit of a close up but it gives you an idea.

EDIT: just noticed...that in the bottom left is cabomba...AND also noticed that Sams posted at the same time I did and his is a better picture lol!
