Hornwort in cholla wood..

From my experiences cholla wood makes a nice planter for a variety of plants. And can help against the fish that like to dig up plants
First time using hornwort in it. I usually cut up the cholla wood into smaller pieces (drill out bigger holes if needed) if the center hole is large enough already a small ring is all you really need.
Have had fun cutting a few length wise and doing a few different plants in a series or just covering it in grass or miss and using them as little arch ways for fish to rest under...

That's a nice tip.

I'd never thought of doing that, and I can see it being a useful way to disguise any unsightly plant weights as well.
