Hopeless Oscar?

a friend was moving and gave me his oscar because he knew i had some, and i brought him home and placed him in my hospital tank first, well since he has been here all he does is lay down and hardly ever moves except when i put live food in for him and thats just long enough to eat it then back to bottom on his side he goes wont eat flake or frozen. any suggestions? its been about 7 days now.

How big is the hospital tank?

Sounds like typical Oscar behaviour, he is sulking due to being taken out of an environment that he is used to being in,
I would personally add him to your main setup now as he is only going to sulk when you move him again

its only a 10 hospital,just dont think he can handle the 125 with bigger ones yet
plus i really want to make sure id hate to introduce something bad on my bigger ones

what size is the Oscar? if it is eating live foods then it sounds like it has simply been trained bad feeding habits,

As said my large 11+inch oscar sometime lays on the bottom motionless just watching<they are lazy gits....
how big are all the oscars in question?

the oscar thats in the hospital tank is only about 4 inches long

i have successfully got one at 11+inch and two at 6-7inch and two at 3inch all in same tank,,it does and can work....
