Hi
I have 3 honey sunset gouramis, (2 female and 1 male), one of the females however i have just added and is still only young and not sexually mature, but the other two are.
I was just wondering though with the other two it seems to me that the male wants to mate as he has the black markings on him and is always very lively round the female, however the female always chases him off.
Is this because the male wants to mate and the female doesn't?
They are in a 190L tank at the mo with two keyhole cichlids, i know that to breed them succesfully i would need to transfer them to their own tank. I was just wondering though if i did transfer them to their own tank would the female want to mate then or would she still try and chase him away??
Thanks
