I think the minimum would be 10 gallons, thats from what I have heard and seen.

I have a Pair in a 30 litre biorb so you should be fine with a pair 30 litres plus.

I have three honey gouramis, two honey and one red robin (red honey) gourami. they all have plenty of room in my 11 gallon tank and they are very peasful with the other fish.

lovely fish, id recomend them and they are perfect if you have a small aqaurium x
