Hi. I would like your thoughts on a couple of different fish. How many Honey gourami could I keep in a 12 gallon Eclipse tank? How many German rams could be kept? I'm not talking about keeping them together, just one species? Thanks

Sorry, wrong forum. I don't know where my brain is tonight, I'm in the right spot.

Four females would be good or maybe a male and some cories and shrimp.

trio of honeys? i would say.
You could also get some other fish with the honeys.
Also depends how well your filtration is. If it is just the gouramis i would almost say like 5 honeys or sparkling.
My honeys seems to stay @ 1.5 inches though.

How about getting a male fighter and some females. Then you could also add soem bristlenoses and corys to fill in the gaps.

"Oh by the way you would have more of a chance of breeding honey gouramis if you just had a pair , and no other fish in the tank besides bottom dwellers." My Honey gouramis spawn almost every 2 weeks, sometimes every week and a half.
