You need some fish! It looks good, possibly a bit too symmetrical with plants on either side and wood bang in middle. Might want to get more wood/ position the wood more verticly and more foreground plants. Overall a great first tank set up though.

i love the simplicity of it. mine is a bunch of plants and wood and it is almost too much to look at. i like it! what fish do you have in there?

I know what you mean by too symmetrical , that's what I'm working on now, I saw a site member had what looked like lava 'caves' and I was thinking of building them in the back left then some short grass for the right hand side.

And ATM I have
12 x harlequin rasboras
4 x albino cories (hoping to raise this to 6/8)
1 x red betta

I don't think that's too bad so far but I don't think I'll get much more in the 60l. What do you think?

I agree it's too symmetrical at present. Some taller wood would be good. Also some mid and foreground plants would make it more interesting. Looks good though :good:

You don't need anymore fish in there, if anything it's a bit overstocked, but with good management should be fine.

Do your fish not like the camera then?

Ok so me being me I couldn't leave it alone and have tried to add some real plants ( anubia) pictures shorty

I agree with all of the calls on symmetry, if you can try and work to the golden ratio.

Golden ratio? Sorry I'm not familiar with this, what I'd it?

Ah right, have you any examples ?

Apologises if this is a common question !!...

Yea that bogwood is pretty nice, I would definately get some more real plants though as your fish will love them and it'll make the tank look so much nicer.

Good so far!
