Very nice, the fry look like they are doing well!!!!! Be warned, you female look's full of egg's, which mean's new spawn, no more old babies. Or it could just be the picture, but she does look full of eggs.

Well i got myself a set of macro filters for my 72mm lenses at last! Now the focal length is shorted so i can get some nice close ups. The downside of course is that the depth of field is also shorter.

Mum with the fry

Excuse the quality, i had to use ISO 1600 due to them being in a darkened bit of the tank most of the time and it is cropped from a large image (10.2MP).
Included to show how much they already look like there parents even when they are so small.

I have also had to move the pair in my smaller tank into the bigger tank, due to the fact that the texas blue's have spawned! They have dug a huge pit in the gravel and burrowed out a cave under the rocks as well. 100s of eggs have been laid on the bog wood in there and they are being territorial towards anything bigger than a harlequin that goes near.

I love your Close-ups! Definatley good quality! The fry look like they are doing well! What have you been feeding them? The fry's stomachs look yellow!

:hyper: the first two pics show the true colour, the others are so high iso and low light when i brightened them it makes them look green and yellow.
They are still very small and almost see-through. But you can see the shape nicely.

Been feeding them as normal, just been adding a bit more flake (algae & protein) in there area so they get it and crush it up for the fry. They've also nicked some of the floating sticks as well and some prawn.
I'm doing more frequent water changes as well, not sure if all fry produce hormones that stop them growing or if its just certain species, but it won't hurt anyway :)
