Homework.

For a detailed piece of writing check out some of the deeper marine vertebrates:

Such as the Gulper Eel, Angler Fish etc. All are highly adapted to their unique and rather harsh environment.

My fave is the angler, check out the diff between male and female size/form and their breeding strategy.

a frogfish would be awsome! They blend in naturally with corals, just ask andy, his changed color!

I still say you should do the Thorny Devil

God Bless,

Just actually saw the picture (missed it earlier, must've not loaded) and it looks very interesting, I might do with instead since it looks very easy to do and I heard it's colour changes with warmth, so obviously it's colder at night so it gets darker with cold and lighter with warmth so it works with day and night.

Wow I just saw a video on youtube and it showed how to makes water fall on it and makes it travel to its mouth. And how spiny it is and the false head. Looks amazing.

Nothobranchius species
Or
Desert Pupfish
(Killis of course)

Just a very interesting species in my opinion. You really can't go wrong with it. Besides, they look awesome

Being biased I would suggest frogfish. As mentioned they change colour to match their surroundings, as well as exhibiting aggressive mimicry by having a lure that resembles a food item for the prey fish. They have evolved jaws which operate faster than muscles are believed capable of as well as a digestive system that is so efficient they can go months without food, but with a stomach that allows them to make the most of any food when it comes by.

Another great specialised fish would be the remora which tend to attach to sharks and other larger animals by virtue of a massively modified dorsal fin.

Does that mean they dont crap much if their digestive system is efficient?

Not a great deal. Even with my regular feeding I will be surprised to see more than one faeces per frog per fortnight

i think tanganyikan cichlids would be best

WOW thanks everyone for the ideas.

How could I do Tang Cichlids or Mbuna? Is their special adaptation that they like rocks and shells.

Leaf fish looks very good to do too, and I can see how it works.

their excellent parenting, and how they have adapted and evolved to their enviroment very interesting i think
