Last week I bought some brine shrimp eggs so I would have some live food to feed to my fish and frogs. However when I got home I remembered that brine shrimp needed salt water(duh), but I forgot to get some marine salt while I was out :X.

So could I make my own salt for them out of table salt, rock salt, baking soda or something?

I've no idea, but I've just read the quote in your sig and think its hilarious!

:D

Any non-iodized salt will work. Pickling salt is cheap, 50 pound bags of cattle salt are even cheaper. I've been using the livestock salt for years.

Cooking Salt not Table Salt will suffice Cheap from the supermarket. And if you pH is a tad low the add just a teenie bit of Bicarbonate of Soda again from your local convenience store.
