Well the last occupants of my 20g died recently, and I've been trying to work out what to do with it, I was thinking of a marine invert tank, but since its a 20 Tall, and most inverts are strict;y bottom dwellers, most of the tank wouldn't be used, and I didn't particularly want marine fish, so that idea is pretty much out.

The other one I was considering was another planted tank with just a betta. I've been having great fun with my other 20, it's only occupant being a betta, I'm having a go at plants with it. I do like the idea of another planted tank... Plus the 20 has a better light, that isn't completely yellow...

I want to do something that's different, that's not just plonk the fish in and there you go, anyone got any suggestions?

Neolamprologus Multifasciatus, a very interesting (and small) shell dwelling cichlid from lake tanganyika, doesnt require much space, and their behavior is great to watch. They can be seen on National Geoprahic biting an alligators tail while defending their eggs and shell (note that these guys are usually referred to one of the smallest cichlid in the world, 1.5 inches is maz size).

Drew

Edit-Multifaciatus do inhabit the bottom areas of the tank, but there are some smaller species of rainbows and other fish that could be kept together with "multies" to serve as mid and upper level fish.
