got this boy in our latest shipment, exactly what ive been waiting for to come in for ages, and luckily ive got the perfect matching female.




the 2 together wont give me blacks immediately as even though they are both black and blue they both hold red in their genes but i rather like the look of red/blue/black bettas

solid blacks (melano) dont come by so very often due to the weak genetic and the F3 defect, so it would be nice to have some to work with at a later date, even though its not the top of my list
