Hi there

My name is Carrie and I am new to the board. I live in British Columbia, Canada. I am originaly from the coast (born and raised) but 4 years ago moved up into the Okanagan to a small town. I am married (11 years) and have three kids. When I am not busy raising them (haha) i am a birth assistant.
I bought my first fish tank in November (a 29 gallon) and am now hooked,lol. My husband gave me a 20 gallon for x-mas and so now we have no space in our living room,lol. He is nervous as i have been looking at 50 gallon tank recently

I guess I should post what fish I am into.......

I have hatchets, gouramis (dwarf and pearl), corries, clown loaches, pleco, angels and some tiger barbs. The barbs are in with the corries and the pleco. The hatchets, gouramis, loaches and angels reside together. This is why I am looking at bigger tanks....my loaches are just babies right now but they are gonna grow as are the angels...so hopefully soon <insert evil laugh> i will have a BIG tank <cackling evilly>

Oh! and I just bought a small weather loach as well. He is so cool. His name is Farkle.

Welcome to the forum.
I am also from BC, specifically Vancouver but am now living in Japan.
I too am married and my wife is also worried as I have been looking at big tanks.
