I just registered and before I jump right in, I'll leave my post in here so you can know a little bit about my tanks.
10 gallon - previously a hospital tank, changed it over today
Home to around 60 or 70 third generation fancy tail guppies, mostly yellow cobras, roughly 3 months old
Gravel bottom, exterior filter, big huge hollow log in the middle for the babies to hide in, 3 foot long silk plant on one side (floats on top of the water and hangs down for plenty of hiding places)
20 gallon - "my tank" - previously mostly guppies - changed it over today
Heavily planted on both left and right sides with the 3 foot long silks
1 6 inch angel fish (if it survives being moved from tank to tank today, I'll move my prize angel along with it)
2 2 inch angels
2 second generation pineapple swords - just hitting breeding age
8 african clawed frogs
1 panda cory cat
30 gallon - "the big tank" - supposedly my boyfriends
1 rosy - only remaining from the 2 dozen I bought as feeders - he continues to escape the predators
3 brown knives - 1 mature adult, 2 adolescents
1 violet goby
1 pleco - 6 or 7 inches long
1 gorgeous black veil angel - absolutely stunning finnage - I'll move it to the 20 gallon if it's old tank mate makes it through the change okay
2 ropefish - one male, about 15 inches, one female, about 12 inches
1 leaf fish - just got it, about 2 inches long
1 crab
1 pair of golden wonderkilli... lonely at the empty top of the tank
~And thats it, because I've been cut off from going to fish stores again... period
~
