Hi, I'm new to the forum and just had a quick question which I was hoping you could help me with.

I'm looking to get an Angelfish for my tank, its a 120 litre one. Are there any fish I should avoid putting in with it? Any special advice you could offer me? I've heard so many conflicting views!

Many thanks in advance :)

anything small like tetras/ danios coz it will eat them

Providing the tank is at least 18" high, you should be fine for an angel fish. What other fish do you have already?

As already said, avoid neons an any other small fish as the angel once grown will happily snack on them.

Also avoid any fin nipping fish like tetras or barbs as they may nip at the angels fins - also no bettas :)

Welcome to the forum :good: , yep whats already been said really, any small fish like neons, angelfish will have a nice meal on those.

Thanks for all the replies and the welcomes...the tank is a Jewel Lido 120.

Will follow your advice :)

(edit: oooops, never had that from a simple smiley face LOL)
