it has certainly progressed much quicker than I expected! Can't thank you enough for the media which must have helped no end. Should I water change now then even though I need the nitrite eating bacteria to arrive?

It is going really well thank you! i started dosing with ammonia the day I put the media in the filter, and yesterday I got my first 0ppm ammonia reading, with nitrites off the scale. I then dosed ammonia to 2ppm again and 12 hours later it was at 1ppm, so cycle definitely seems to progressing. Will test tonight to see if remaining 1ppm of ammonia has been converted. Thanks again for the media!

i too would be interested in some filter media. im situated in gloucester not far from you. ive had my tank setup a week but im still far away from a full cycle. im on a water meter so the daily changes are going to cost me a fortune! i would PM you but i dont seem to have that ability, perhaps because im a new member. if you could donate me some media it would be much appreciated. thanks!
