Looks like I have some Ramshorn Snails in my tank now. Not sure where they came from since I don't have any live plants. Maybe they hitched a ride with the plec I picked up about a month ago.

I personally don't have any issues with my ramshorn snails I have. Just a word of warning - My yoyo loaches do not eat any of them. I'm pretty sure they don't, and they're supposedly one of the best snail eaters.

If you don't get overrun with ramshorn, I can't see this as a problem since the turn over my substrate. Of course, they do release added load to the tank but I actually don't mind those particular snails.
