Hitchhiker

I have bought some more Cabomba a couple of days ago and about 2 days ago this started to grow. I have washed the plant in a running water, but a seed must have survived somehow
It is about 1 cm tall, the leaf is long, pointy and green.
I'm not sure if I should leave it where it is now until it get bigger, or plant it lower on the ground or attach to the wood?

Can you circle the part you are referring to? I only see green very healthy cabomba

Is it attached to the cabomba if so it may be a flower stem ( the send of them off sometimes)
