Hey guys, I have just recently moved to a new house and decided to check the water parameters in the house before I did any water changed. Ammonia, Nitrate, and Nitrite are all good but when I got to pH it was at around 8.4ppm. In my old house I had a small Nitrate problem so I had to add some Prime to my water jugs before I did the water change.

My question now is what should I do? Is there a product you guys can advice me to buy to lower the pH? OR is there another way to fix this.

I have done the pH test 3 times and every time it came out the same.

Thank you for your time.

If funds allow the best way forward would be to use an r/o unit. Then do a % mix with tapwater to get the ph you're looking for. Only other option is to go with fish that prefer a higher ph.
