i have some floating froggbitt AND bogwood AND indian almond leaves and my ph is 9+ - tank has been running for ages now too

thats a bit high init being 9ph?

Add Lemon juice to your water that willl lower the PH and give your Fish Vitamin C at same time :hyper:

can you do that? i dont know why its so high, even after a water change. my water has a PH of 7-7.5

it has IAL, coconut caves and bogwood in

what other ornaments and substrate do you have? any rocks etc? thats quite a rise to over 9pH if tap water is 7-7.5.....

Mine sits at 8.2 most of the time. I'm going to introduce some CO[sup]2[/sup] to improve my plants - hopefully they'll help to bring it down a touch. Need to get some more bogwood (got some Java fern growing on a wee lump) as the pleco will like it too!

i have lots of the stuff for sale if you want it!

Just PM'd you...

just done a PH test on both of my tanks... the ph in my 125 is between 7-7.5 so is good, yet the ph in my boys 180 tank is still at 9!

no-one i suffering because of it, but why on earth is it so high? could it be the algae that is building up on the dividers??
