High Ph?!

tested my water and no nitrite or nitrate present assume this is all good?!

the PH however is slightly high @ 8.5 not happy......

did a water change and am going to test again shortly.....

do i leave it and water change or do i use 'ph down'??? which i know works?!?!

what fish do yo have?
Better off nnot using chemicals. WHat ph is the water out of the tap?

our water is terrible here!!!

the PH in the water is slightly higher...... (i think my tank may be actually 8 - and tap 8.5) it waslast night i tested i tlol!!!

the water looks like little bits floating init........

it was fine last week - mabye its the water out my tap?!

Fish are fine.......

it isnt terrible depending on that fish you keep - species?
Ph around my area is at 8, which perfectly fine for african cichlids.

The floating bits is not a cause by the ph.

How long has the tank been set up? Ho long have you had the fish?
