High Nitrates?

I had one of my new males guppies die last night, I bought hi last week. Didn't think too much of it and today another has died?!!!

I have tested the water today and the Nitrates appear high so I have done a 30% water change.

Is there anything else I should or shouldn't be doing?!

Hi,

Its an Elite 60 litre tank currently houses:

4 female guppies
1 male guppy (previously 3)
3 danios
2 plattys
1 algae shrimp

Tank has a stingray 15 filter.

How high are the nitrates?

Anything under 100ppm should be fine.

They appear between 70-100 on the scales we have.

We lost another guppy this morning too
