Hey everyone, been awhile since I last logged on. MG is not fun I tell ya. Anyway, I recently had to bring a bunch of white lyretail mollies to the petstore due to a overstocking issue because well these things produce like bunnies. But they are gone, now I am left with high Nitrate levels. I have live plants in my tank which by the way were not doing too well till I purchased the Finnex Planted plus LED 24hour light which I love and so do my plants which have been thriving.
Okay question, do I do some water changes to get these Nitrates down or find a chemical solution to this issue. My fish are all doing well, they seem to be loving it and just swimming around like fish do. Anyone have any helpful tips or hints on this.

What are your water parameter numbers right now?

Water change, and gravel vac :)

I used one of those quick test strips and my Nitrate was the only one super high, in like the dangerous zone. I did a water change today, and replaced my filter. Going to check it tomorrow with the test kit. Going to do another water change every other day and see how it goes. Will post tomorrow when I get the numbers. Thanks so much
