Hi, Newb Signing In!

Hi all, just registered here as I'm hoping to get some help regarding an aquarium ailment but I'll post that in the correct place.
 
So, the name's Nick as you might have gathered and I've had freshwater aquaria on and off for more years than I care to remember. I'm particularly interested in armoured catfish and loaches (although the problem's not with those) but over the years I've kept a fairly broad range of different species.
 
I'm looking forward to participating here and hopefully an expert here can give me some pointers on what to do to help my poorly fish.

Not got any current pics, but here's one of my old favourites - took this in 2003 when the fish was about a year old, only lost her last year; Not a good day.
